A busy term one…
The children in Primary 5L have had a very busy term since September. We have been learning about our own native city of Belfast. We have learned about the famous landmarks and the famous people of Belfast. We enjoyed a trip around Belfast to visit the famous landmarks that we learned about in class. We have also been learning about famous landmarks around the world including the Statue of Liberty and The Eiffel Tower.
The Primary 5 children in both classes are also involved in The Shared Education programme wjth the P5 children in Nettlefield and we all met up for a day filled with fun activities.
We went to see Wonder in the cinema this term, which we all thoroughly enjoyed and had a very informative and worthwhile visit from the Fire Service.
Our primary 5 classes were also very lucky to visit Phoenix gas this term, where we learned lots about natural gas, jobs in the gas industry and got a guided tour around their offices which was great fun.
Before our Christmas holidays we will be going to the Pantomime, Beauty and the Beast, in The Waterfront Hall.
Finally we are all looking really forward to Christmas and would like to wish all our families and friends a very happy and peaceful Christmas!
