Regular and punctual attendance is a priority for all pupils. It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to ensure that all pupils are brought to school and collected on time.
Where possible parents and carers are asked to arrange medical or dental appointments for
after-school hours and to refrain from booking holidays during term time.
A written note from a parent/carer is required if:
A child is absent from school
A child is to leave school early
Pupils may not leave the school grounds during the day. Pupils P4-P7 are permitted to go home for lunch but must not return for playtime before 1.10pm when playground supervision commences.
Pupils and parents will be referred to the Educational Welfare Officer (EWO) when attendance falls below 85%.
