Hello Boys and Girls! 

I’m so sorry I didn’t get to see you all on your last day. I miss you all very much and I’m sure you all miss going to school and meeting up with your friends. Even though we aren’t allowed to leave our homes very much there are still ways for you to keep in touch. You can ask to use the phone to ring or text your friend or chat over the x-box or play station.

Hopefully you are all managing to complete some work out of the packs that were made up in school. Make sure you are doing plenty of reading to keep your reading and phonics skills sharp. NI Libraries has lots of books online for you to borrow. Find them at librariesni.org.uk

I know it’s very easy to feel sad or grumpy about not getting to see your friends, grandparents and other family - I get that way too! But we have to shake the blues away. Put on some music and do some funky dancing, bake some buns or read a story to your dog or cat! Hey! They might enjoy it!

Remember, mums and dads are having a hard time too, so you need to try your best to be really good at home. We will get through these hard times and get to see each other as soon as possible. Until then, stay safe and keep washing your hands often.
