We have been learning about polar bears. We carried out an experiment to find out how they stay warm. We put our hands in water and they got cold very quickly. We then put our hands back in the water but this time they were in a bag that had lard which is a bit like blubber. Our hands didn’t get cold! We decided that blubber keeps the polar bears warm.
St Brigid brings the Spring. Our families and friends joined us for a special Assembly all about St Brigid. Look at the wonderful St Brigid's cloak we made.
