Welcome to our new 'world around us' topic:

 

                                            SOUND AND HEARING

 

We will be learning about how sound travels to our ears, different kinds of sounds and even making our own sounds!

 

We read the story 'Peace at Last' by Jill Murphy. We heard all the sounds that kept Mr Bear awake during the night. We completed matching activities, questions and writing. We then used different instruments to create a sound story, with each group making the sounds around the house as we read the story.
