Flat Stanley!
Flat Stanley came home with us for our week off! Look at everything he did with us, he even went to Spain!...
This term we have read our first class novel. It is called 'Flat Stanley' and is about a boy who became flat when a bulletin board fell on him. Stanley goes on lots of adventures as a flat boy, even going in an envelope to California to visit his friend. During the mid term holidays we took our own flat Stanley's home and brought him on some adventures. We were then able to write our own journal entries. This has been an excellent part of our writing skills this month!
We have been writing postcards pretending to be flat and sent away in an envelope, just like Stanley!
